Strolls to the Pyrgos Kastelli

The location of Skyfall Suites allows you to visit all the attractions of the nearby village as you are simply walking. Follow the narrow streets that will take you on a journey back in time at the Kastelli (Castle) of Pyrgos. From the square you will ascend to the top, stopping at particularly important churches, such as Theotokaki, one of the oldest churches on the island, to get to the highest point and the church of the Virgin Mary with the beautiful steeple.

The monastery of Prophet Elias

Just a few meters from Skyfall suites, the path leading to the monastery of Prophet Elias begins. A unique route with breath-taking views to the entire island of Santorini. In the monastery, you will find a small exhibition and you will experience the hospitality of the monks.

The Santorini Union of Cooperatives, SantoWines, and the Chantzidakis Winery will be the next stops on your walks around Skyfall Suites. The products of Santorini have a unique taste worth discovering. We start with the famous cherry tomato.
Its seeds came from Egypt and soon flourished in the soil of the island giving a small, hard-skinned but fully flavored kind of tomato that you will taste in traditional salads.

Try the capers, the white eggplants, and also the fava (yellow split peas) which grows on the island for 3500 years and belongs to a unique variety.

From Akrotiri to the top of Mesa Vouno, just above Kamari village and the city of Ancient Thera. A city that was built by Spartan settlers during the 8th century BC, where today’s visitors can admire the theatre, the agora, the temples and the magnificent view to the Aegean Sea.
